What is HomePokerHero?
HomePokerHero is a web app for running private home poker tournaments and leagues. You create events, invite players, run a blinds clock, manage seating and eliminations, and record payouts—all in one place.
Do players need to install an app?
No. Players sign in with a magic link (email). They can open the event “play” page on their phone or laptop to see their seat, the clock, and move alerts. No app required.
How do I invite players?
From an event, you send invites by email. Each player gets a unique link to accept. Once they accept, they’re a participant and can open the player view for that event.
Can I show the clock on a TV?
Yes. Each event has a full-screen clock view you can open on a TV or projector. It stays in sync so everyone sees the same levels and time.
How do I run a league or season?
Create a group and add a season (e.g. “Winter 2025”). Create events inside that season. When you finalize events, you can enable standings so points or results roll up for the season.
